Area Size:
• Khao Kho: A district in Phetchabun province covering an area of approximately 1,326 square kilometers, featuring complex mountain ranges.
• Phu Thap Boek: Located in Wang Ban sub-district, Lom Kao district (bordering Khao Kho). It is the highest peak in Phetchabun province, standing about 1,768 meters above sea level.
Weather: Cool all year round, especially in winter when temperatures can drop to single digits. It is famous for thick and stunning "sea of mist" mornings, particularly during the rainy and winter seasons.
Best Time to Visit: November to February (winter season with great weather and beautiful mist) and the rainy season (July to October), when the landscape is lush green with post-rain mist.
